In today’s post we are going to talk about an amazing patch that will help us to minimize neck wrinkles – Vella Neck Patch Prestige Wrinkle Killer.
For some reasons, it is really hard to find patches for the neck. If you do an internet search, you will be blown away with amount of eye patches, however, the number of neck patches if very limited.
And yet, neck wrinkles and sagging neck skin are one of the major skin problems. Neck often gives our age away and in my opinion, is the hardest to take care of. Many people do not bother with special products for the neck (I used to be like that), they just spread whatever is left from face cream or essence from sheet masks.
Yet, skin around neck is very similar to skin around eyes: it is much thinner than facial skin and there are fewer oil glands, which mean that neck skin is not as moisturized. In other words, neck skin needs different products than our facial skin.
In any event, I am on the mission and searching for good skin care products that are designed to take care of our beautiful necks.
I would like to point out that I only talk about non-invasive treatments that anyone can perform at home. I understand that there are many salon and invasive neck wrinkle treatments out there. However, many of us do not have time or financial means to have those procedures, thus I am concentrating more on treatments that can be easily done at home.
After all, we are looking into skin care as a part of self-care and anyone deserves to have best self-care possible.
So, let’s get back to our neck patch. Little spoiler: I really love it and ordered more so I can continue with treatments.

Vella Neck Patch Prestige Wrinkle Killer – Review
Let’s here the manufacturer: “anti-wrinkle cosmetic neck patch that helps to improve the elasticity and wrinkles.”
This patch is thin and 30 cm long. There are 5 packets in the package. Patch is very thick as it has double layer of fabric. Such a thick fabric will prevent all good ingredients from evaporating. It also promotes excellent absorbency.
This patch contains contains very powerful ingredients:
Syn-Ake – this is an anti-wrinkle material. It is a synthetic tripeptide that “mimics” the effects of peptide found in the venom of the Temple Viper snake. Syn-ake acts in a manner similar to a peptide in snake venom. It blocks some receptors and keeps muscles relaxed. This smooths out your wrinkles. Many people believe that this peptide has similar effects of Botox.
Bee venom – it is a transparent liquid kept inside queen bee’s or working bee’s venom sac. When bee stings you, it injects bee venom right under you skin causing all this pain, inflammation, swelling and redness. Many researches show that in skin care bee venom is actually beneficial to your skin. When you apply if topically, it causes very minor inflammation and irritation. This action stimulates production of collagen, increased blood circulation, oxygenation and nutrient delivery to the area. Naturally, if you are allergic to bee stings, you might want to stay away from this ingredient in skin care products (although many people report that topical bee venom does not cause allergy even though these people has allergic reaction to bee stings).
Hydrolyzed collagen – hydrogel reacts to the temperature of the skin and delivers active ingredients right to it. Because it is a patch, all ingredients are delivered to the targeted area (wrinkles around the neck).
Adenosine – a natural ingredient that functions as a skin-restoring and soothing agent as well as an anti-aging ingredient.
Niacinamide – also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinamide. Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin and helps to improve appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness and weakened surface
Centella asiatica extract – rich in vitamin B1, B2, niacin and carotene, all of which brighten skin and fight premature aging and dark spots.
How to use Vella Neck anti-wrinkle patch
- Remove the patch from the package and remove the film on one of the sides. The side that has this thin film is sticky and this is the side that contains all the good ingredients.
- Make sure that your neck skin is absolutely dry.
- Attach sticky side to your skin and wrap the patch around your neck. This could be tricky because you do not want to wrap this patch too tight. Otherwise you will feel as if you are choking (this what happened to me the first time I used the patch).
- Wait for 30-40 minutes and then remove the patch.
- Follow up with your regular skin care routine.
Impression
To be honest, I was sceptical about the patch. It just did not look presentable: some long piece of very thick fabric with sticky side. I still do not understand how all these good ingredients manage to stay on the surface of the patch.
In addition, this patch is completely dry when you open it, which is very unusual with all other patches. There is no hint of essence or any product whatsoever.
Despite all my scepticism, this patch WORKS! I am very cautious with products that give you quick results. I just think that quick results mean temporary solution to the problem and in very short period of time the problem will come back.
This patch really surprised me. I noticed improvement in those ugly wrinkles that go around the nick after 3 applications. I finished all 5 patches a month ago and I swear my wrinkles did not come back (I must admit I have been using 3D roller and jade roller as well as doing neck muscles exercises).
This patch made such a huge impression on me, that I ordered another package and I rarely do that; because I want to try so many other skin care products. However, this product just blew me away.
I know packaging is very minimal and not appealing at all, but do not be fooled by this: this product really deserves your attention and will contribute to minimizing wrinkles around your neck. It also brighten’s skin which even out the tone and removes dark spots.
