In today’s post I would like to review Berrisom Placenta Firming Hydro Gel Eye patches. Eye patches are an excellent addition to your skin care routine as they provide an extensive number of beneficial things to our under eye area.
Under-eye area is very delicate and requires extra attention and special care. This is the area where wrinkles, dark circles and under eye bags mostly show up first due to our facial expressions and thiner under-eye skin. Skin under eyes is also the first one to give away our health problems or any other issues we might be facing. Lack of sleep, dehydration, heavy makeup, tiredness, stress, unhealthy diet, spending too much time on the computer etc – all of these will show up on our face, especially in the delicate area around eyes. That is why our eyes and area around them need special care and special products specifically designed to restore the skin and deal with problems.

I use under eye patches all the time and always look for new ones. So, let’s start with Berrisom patches.
Berrisom Placenta Firming Hydro Gel Eye patches (made in Korea).
As the name states, these patches contain placenta, that is extracted from pregnant mammals (it is better not to dwell on the thought of how it was extracted). Placenta has a very high concentration of peptides, minerals, enzymes, vitamins, amino acids and hexane – all are extremely beneficial to human’s skin.
Besides placenta this product also contains the following:
- Arbutin – a must ingredient for whitening;
- Adenosin – takes care of wrinkles by promoting protein synthesis to improve cells renewal and repair;
- Collagen – a must ingredient for firming and anti-aging;
- Hyaluronic acid – a must ingredient for skin hydration and moisturizing;
- Seventeen natural ingredients such as aloe vera, green tea, camomile, black cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, camellia, cranberry, allantoin, centella asiatica, broccoli, tomato, cabbage, cornus fruit, sugar maple, castor oil, ceratonia siliqua gum.
Full list of ingredients:

The box contains 60 gel-like sheets (patches). Patches are quite large and fit easily anyone’s under eye area.
Product is suitable for any skin type (unless you have any personal allergic reaction to any of the components).
Patches are very smooth and weightless. They do cool the skin around eyes, but you can keep patches in your refrigerator to enhance cooling effect. As a bonus patches have weak nice smell that is not overwhelming.
How to use:
- Clean your face with your regular cleansing product. Pat dry.
- Apply patches using provided spatula. They will easily stick to skin and do not move much on your face.
- Wait for 20-30 minutes (30 minutes recommended for enhanced effect).
- Remove patches and slightly pat the area. No need to rinse the skin.
I noticed that small wrinkles under and around eyes seem to fade away. I think it is because of a boost in hydration: hydrated skin is usually plumped and full. In addition to less visible wrinkles, I also noted that dark circles look less dark and on a good day they even become not visible. Also my skin under eyes looks fresh and rejuvenated as if I just had a good 10 hour sleep :). I notice that patches come off the skin almost completely dry, it feels that all the essence is fully absorbed by my skin.
In addition, I noticed that this patches have cumulative effect meaning that the more you use them, the more benefits you will notice to your skin.
I do love these patches and use them several times a week. I will strongly recommend them to anyone including my best friend lol.
